Mystic Woods ...

Only 10 minutes north of downtown Campbell River, Mystic Woods offers a lovely landscaped setting on 6.5 acres of forested property. You will feel far away from the bustle of the city when you wander through the gardens, with a koi pond, pastures for horses and an excellent fenced in and shaded area for your furry companions.

The spacious 1200 square foot studio has a separate entrance to the upper level of this gorgeous home designed by the landscape architect owner who used to run a greenhouse on the property. The 3rd spacious bedroom sits just off of the top landing with a Queen bed and double hide-a-bed. This is almost a separate studio, with a deck looking onto the courtyard, and the placement offers a quiet space set aside from the main living area.

Inside there is a large laundry room with washer, dryer, laundry sink and shower. There is ample space for hanging lifejackets and outdoor gear. The back hallway leads to 2 other bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other hosts a double bed. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture and unique artwork. The main bathroom has a claw-foot soaker tub with a skylight above, inviting you for a night-time soak under the stars with candles and a glass of wine.

The main living space is open concept, with the kitchen well-situated in the centre between the dining room and living room. The large flat screen TV is connected to satellite and speakers for lots of audio and viewing selections with a VCR/DVD for movies. This room is warm and cosy, with a gas fireplace and comfy leather furniture. Wireless internet is available throughout the entire suite.

You will never have to wait for a hot cup of tea, thanks to a hot water tap in the kitchen. The gas range and oven is perfect for preparing big dinners, and there is ample countertop space and an island for entertaining. The refrigerator/freezer offers good storage for successful fishermen.

You will constantly be distracted by the elevated views of the gardens behind the house.watch closely for eagles and deer! The landscaping is outstanding, and you will leave feeling inspired to start gardening at home. Campfires are permitted year 'round in the outside firepit... bring marshmallows!

Mountain bikers, trail runners and walkers will be in heaven as trails leading into Snowden demonstration forest are only minutes away on back roads. Elk Falls, John Hart Lake, Loveland Bay Park and the Sayward Forest Canoe Route are all easy access from here. Fall visitors will be pleased to know that the chantrelle-picking is fantastic in these areas.
